EMMA QUINN

Hello. I'm Emma Quinn. I have nearly two decades of coaching and mentoring experience, mostly in the context of Higher Education and business. I have lived and worked abroad and lectured at two universities in the UK. I have also worked in journalism and volunteered with a number of organisations. I am a parent, with an adult daughter. I trained as a coach with the Academy of Executive Coaching which is at the forefront of excellence in coaching. I am an Accredited Associate Coach and I follow the ethical code of the EMCC. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and discovering how working with me can support you in developing your full potential.

I hope you can see my passion for photography and my love of nature coming through in this website. I take a lot of photos of trees in particular because they can change dramatically from one day to another and each tree is unique. Even within the same species of tree, each one will have chosen its own path and arrangement of branches. Trees have a lot to teach us about growth, change and uniqueness. An oak tree is never frightened to be itself and neither should we be.

The majority of the photos on this website are my own photos. Sunrise at sea: I. Lindsay. All photos are used with permission. Bali photos are Zyro stock photos and the empty chair photo is by Polina Kuzovkova, Unsplash , used with thanks.

  • I had the pleasure of working with Emma, an executive coach, as I worked through some major life changes. She asks excellent, thought provoking questions and she helped me to come to conclusions on actions I needed to take to deliver on my goals. A lot of our coaching conversations centred around my transition from a 15 year career in the financial services sector to setting up my own management consulting business and taking on a contract as the Chief Operating Officer of a start-up. Emma's support was invaluable during this. Her strategic and compassionate approach enabled me to develop clarity on my goals and objectives, and supported me to navigate the significant changes in my career with confidence. I would highly recommend Emma as an executive coach.

  • Emma, thank you for a productive coaching session! I found a totally new perspective and approach for solving my problem. I was pleasantly surprised by the creative exercise, which was very helpful. Thank you for your empathy and encouragement.

  • I sought coaching from Emma regarding a major upcoming transition in my work circumstances. Emma's thoughtfulness and empathy aided me in clarifying my thoughts and providing me with a fresh perspective on the decisions I needed to make. I would wholeheartedly recommend Emma to anyone seeking a coach
